Schlapp is able to remain focussed and focused, working alongside White House teams in political issues, legislative affairs, and policy as well the communications department in general. So far, her primary focus is on issues like safety in schools, the opioid epidemic, trade, infrastructure and other related topics. In her current position, Schlapp does not deal much with journalists. The month of March was when she received some interest after her name came up as a possible contender to succeed Hope Hicks in the role of communications director. There's been some tense fights. Schlapp allied with Tony Sayegh, who was a candidate. They started fighting in media. Schlapp claimed that after that the Washington Examiner ran a story with negative remarks about Sayegh she had a discussion with the latter.
